If you like to explore and learn, or simply have fun, visit one of the many attractions there are in the Western Lake District.

Go in search of the Muncaster ghost at Muncaster Castle, explore the areas top museums from Wordsworth House in Cockermouth to The Beacon in Whitehaven, and the impressive Cars of the Stars Museum, and The Bond Museum in Keswick. Discover the Rum trade heritage at The Rum Story in Whitehaven, or ride on a small steam train through the most magnificent valley at Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.

If you like animals, stroke the rays and touch the starfish at Lake District Coast Aquarium, and visit the Childrens Farm at The Gincase in Silloth.
