Murthwaite Green Trekking Centre

Murthwaite Green Trekking Centre is a friendly and professional family-run horse riding centre specialising in beach rides. Direct access to Silecroft beach, with its five miles of golden sands and shallow waters, make it the ideal place for horse riding.

Honister Slate Mine

Honister Slate Mine is the last working slate mine in England. Today it offers an inside and outside Mountain Experience and is the site of the UK’s first Via Ferrata (Silver award, Enjoy England Visitor Experience of the Year 2012).

Keswick Climbing Wall

Offering lessons for beginners of all ages Keswick Climbing Wall has over 40 top rope climbs to get you started as well as plenty of challenges for the more experienced climber. Bouldering, a training Woody and outdoor activities also available.

Keswick Golf Club

With stunning views at every turn, this outstanding 18-hole par 71 course with great character offers a welcoming and varied experience for golfers of all abilities in a unique Lakeland setting. Also open for lunch and coffee for non-golfers.

Newlands Adventure Centre

Try your hand at Climbing and Abseiling, tackle our High Ropes course, paddle the Lakes or experience the legendary Ghyll Scramble. Half and full day activities available for non residents, accommodation and full board courses available for schools and groups.
